  • Do you do acrylic/gel nail extensions?

    No, l don't do nail extensions.

    What is Shellac?

    Shellac (gel polish) is cured using an LED light and can last up to 2 weeks with proper care.

    How do l remove shellac off my nails?

    Shellac should never be picked off because this will damage your nails. You can book an appointment with me to take them off professionally.

    Do you do a nail strengthening treatment?

    Yes, I offer the IBX nail strengthening treatment which you can get done once a week for badly damaged nails or every 2 weeks to maintain strong nails. IBX can be used under nail polish/shellac/BIAB or used on its own.

    What is BIAB?

    Builder In A Bottle (BIAB) is a builder gel that is a thicker consistency and more durable gel than Shellac. It provides strength to the nails and protects them from breakage. BlAB can last around 3 weeks and with proper care it can last up to 4 weeks.

    How do 1 remove BIAB?

    It is not recommended to remove BlAB at home. It should be removed by professionals only!

  • Do you use hot wax or strip wax?

    l use both.

    How long does the hair need to be?

    At least half a cm.

    How often do I need a wax?

    Facial hair: every 2-3 weeks

    Body hair: every 4-6 weeks

    Do you do threading?

    No, unfortunately I'm not trained in threading.

    What is the difference between Brazilian and Hollywood wax?

    In a Hollywood wax, all the hair in the area is removed. In a Brazilian wax, a strip of hair is left. In a G-string wax, the hair outside of the underwear is removed.

  • Is a consultation & patch test compulsory for electrolysis?

    Yes, it's required when it's your first time booking with me. You have to wait a minimum of 24 hours before you can go ahead with your first session.. A 'before picture must be taken for our records to keep track of results. Pictures will not be posted online without permission.

    Do you do electrolysis for body hair?

    No, l personally only provide electrolysis for facial hair including neck.

    How does electrolysis work?

    A fine needle is inserted into the hair follicle. An electrical current is used to destroy the hair.

    Is it really permanent?

    Yes, it is permanent. If you have a hormone imbalance, you may need to maintain the results to treat new hairs that may grow.

    How many sessions will I need?

    Everyone is different so there is no way to know how many sessions you will need.

    How long does the hair have to be?

    Approximately a few millimetres long. If you shave, at least 3 days worth of growth is needed for the session to go ahead.

    Is it painful?

    This depends on your pain tolerance. If you do find it painful, I will share tips to manage pain during your consultation.

    Are there any risks?

    There is a small risk of scarring or pigmentation.

    What method do you use, thermolysis, blend or galvanic?

    I use the method that is best suited for your hair and skin.

    How long have you been trained in electrolysis?

    I have been doing electrolysis on clients since 2019 .
